Heather is the Written Rule of Sports. She is a freelance sports journalist for hire located in the suburbs of Minnesota's Twin Cities. She's covered a variety of sports at the professional, collegiate and high school levels, plus she's written plenty of profiles and feature stories about athletes.
From 2015-2020 she worked as an in-game social media coordinator for Major League Baseball, providing in-game coverage for the Minnesota Twins social media accounts (mostly Twitter). She stayed in the same role from 2021-23, working directly for the Minnesota Twins organization. She's also written a dozen non-fiction children's sports books. Heather has a journalism degree from the University of St. Thomas with more than a decade of experience working in the field in various capacities. |
